The river Taff flows through Cardiff.

Taffy applies to anyone from the whole of Wales.
Not to be confused with salt-water taffy, a mysterious American candy - I think.

Taff(y) is generic for Welshmen in general - comes from Dafydd (DAV-ith) which is the Welsh form of David.
