Dairy cows eat 90 pounds of food each day, and drink a bathtub full of water. A cow spends 6 hours each day eating and 8 hours chewing her cud. A first digestive compartment called the rumen holds up to 50 gallons of partially digested food, which the cow regurgitates to chew. Mooooooooooooooo!
