Iran is slightly larger than Alaska , as is Libya.

Alaska: The state of Alaska covers 586,000 square miles (1,537,898 sq km) and is the largest U.S. state.

19 Mongolia Ulaanbaatar 1,565,000
20 Peru Lima 1,285,220

Based on the above, there are 19 larger.
