It was hard enough to just find out his brother's real name -- James Edmond Burr, born July 13, 1921 and that he was a musician like his mother Minerva.

I've been at this an hour and I can't find his stage name. I've tried various searches. I must be doing something wrong. Trying very hard and will keep at it. Why is it that some searches come up empty?

Hello...I'm one of Edmond's daughters and I don't believe my dad ever had a stage name. For the most part, my dad was a police officer and part time musician (playing the French horn and trumpet, along with directing.) Hope this info helps!
