A mother should be allowed to eat fish during pregnancy; otherwise, her baby will be born with a fish-head. (French Canada)

If mom is craving fish and doesn't give in to the craving, the baby will have a fish head. Found in a book called "Baby Lore - Superstitions and Old Wives Tales from the World Over Related to Pregnancy, Birth and Motherhood" by Rosalind Franklin
