No.
Kakashi discovers Itachi and Kisame in search of Naruto's Kyuubi. Itachi fights Kakashi. At first, Kakashi is amazed at Itachi's speed and realizes that Itachi is moving so fast that he cannot copy his movements. Itachi uses the Magenkyou Sharingan, but it turns out that a Sharingan user has some resistance to this. So, he uses the illusion power of the Magenkyuo to make the illusion of stabbing Kakashi with lots of swords for 72 hours, while in the real world only one second passes. The pain of these swords stabbing him is real. When the illusion is over, Kakashi realizes that Itachi could have killed him, but didn't. He then passes out, and Gai appears to defend him. Itachi says that they didn't come there to start a war, and he and Kisame leave.
